Who we are

More than tours: a boutique way to discover Thailand.

Thai Travel Co., Ltd. is a boutique travel agency based in Bangkok, founded by and for Spanish speakers seeking more than just a photo in front of the Grand Palace. We design small group tours and private experiences that combine must-see landmarks with hidden gems known only to locals.

Each itinerary is the result of years of working closely with local guides, chefs, monks, and artisans in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket, Ayutthaya, and Kanchanaburi. Our mission: for you to return home feeling like you’ve truly experienced Thailand, not just visited it.

Day trips

Leave in the morning, return for dinner

Full-day excursions from Bangkok, ideal if you’re short on time or prefer to stay in the same hotel each night. Pick-up, a Spanish-speaking guide, and a backup plan in case of rain are always included.

Frequently Asked Questions

We'll answer your questions before you book.

It depends on your nationality. Citizens of Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and most Latin American countries can enter without a visa as tourists for up to 60 days (since July 2024). You only need:

  • Passport with at least 6 months of validity
  • Ticket to leave the country
  • Proof of accommodation (we will send you an invitation letter with your booking)

If you are traveling from another country or for more than 60 days, write to me and I will confirm it on a case-by-case basis.

We want you to book with peace of mind. Our policy is:

  • More than 45 days prior: 90% refund (we only retain bank processing fees).
  • Between 45 and 21 days: 50% refund.
  • Less than 21 days: no refund, but the booking can be postponed for 12 months.

If you cancel for justified medical reasons, we will do our best to reschedule your appointment at no cost.

We reserve your trip with a 30% deposit upon confirmation and the remaining 70% 30 days before travel . We accept:

  • Bank transfer (Europe / Latin America)
  • Credit or debit card (+3% commission)
  • PayPal or Wise

For groups or trips longer than 10 days, we can agree to up to 3 installments.

Unless otherwise stated, all our tours include:

  • Accommodation in personally selected 3–4★ hotels
  • Private transfers between destinations and from the airport
  • Guide in Spanish for all activities
  • Tickets to temples, parks and program activities
  • Breakfasts + one typical meal per destination
  • 24/7 support via WhatsApp throughout the trip

Not included: international flights, unspecified meals, travel insurance, and tips.

The most comfortable season is from November to February : mild temperatures (25–30°C), little rain, and clear skies. It is also the peak tourist season.

March to May: very hot (35°C+), but lower prices and fewer crowds.
June to October: monsoon season. Heavy but short rains, and the country looks greener than ever. Perfect for flexible travelers.

I enjoy Thailand all year round — you just have to adapt the itinerary to the season.

The tour already covers almost everything. I recommend bringing between $25 and $40 USD per day per person for:

  • Meals outside the program
  • Drinks, snacks, massages (a 1-hour Thai massage costs 6–10 USD)
  • Souvenirs and markets
  • Tips

There are ATMs in all destinations, and currency exchange to baht is easy. Cards work in hotels and large stores, but bring cash for markets and street food.

How to distinguish a responsible sanctuary from one that only seeks tourists. My personal recommendations for experiencing it respectfully.

From authentic pad thai to northern khao soi, and even mango sticky rice. Your culinary roadmap for never eating the same thing twice.
Guides
Wat Pho at sunrise, a boat trip on the Chao Phraya, street food in Chinatown, and a rooftop bar with skyline views. My favorite itinerary for those who only have two days in the capital.
